French Polynesia

Bora Bora, Moorea, and Tahiti

Thanks to all the hotel rewards points earned from work, we were able to book a rock star-level overwater bungalow at the St. Regis Resort in Bora Bora. Each bungalow included a butler! Waking up and diving from my room into the turquoise south pacific is something I won't ever forget. After swimming with black tip and lemon sharks, learning to ride an outrigger canoe, and eating poisson cru each morning for breakfast, we hopped a plane to Moorea, where we rode four wheelers on island trails and listened to ukelele bands sing. Our final stop was Pape'ete, Tahiti, where we trekked across the island's wild interior in 4wd. Even though we hadn't yet gotten married, Erin and I agreed this was our honeymoon trip.
